Mmatalenta is a Pharmacist with specialization in Toxicology. She holds a postgraduate diploma in Global Health Procurement and Supply chain Management. Mmatalenta has over 25 years’ experience of practicing Pharmacy in international development, government and private sector in Botswana and, currently, in Ethiopia. Mmatalenta is passionate about improving access to care and has been instrumental in ensuring mental health patients accessing psychotropic treatment where they are, a concept of reaching out to clients and not vice versa. She played the role of team leader in the computerization of four hospitals and initiated a platform across government pharmacies to share inventory data to ensure prudent use of commodities and minimize wastage in Botswana. Currently, Mmatalenta’s main focus is to provide quality medicines to staff of the African Union Headquarters, staff of the fifty four (54) African embassy staff and their dependents in Addis Ababa.

She is a vibrant 35 year old with great interest in clinical research ,teaching and development of the medical fraternity in Africa .
Her name has appeared on different Deans list for different achievements ,but what she values the most is the opportunity she had of being in the team that took care of the late tata Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela .

She serves on different boards , including the Biotronik international fellows advisory council ,HF education foundation and is the Director and founder of Reeega medical tourism .
This young woman grew up in the rural Eastern Cape in South Africa but her background never stopped her from dreaming , she is currently doing health innovation and entrepreneurship program with McMaster in preparation for her new business venture in the pharmaceutical industry which forms part of the Reeega group .
Her passion for mentoring and education is evident with different mentoring programs she is involved in .

Arv Kalsi graduated with a 1st Class Hons BSc in Business Decision Sciences at the University of Hertfordshire (UK), she is a member of Project Management Institute (PMI) since 2008 and holds a Executive MBA with Imperial College London.

Arv moved to Kenya in 2014, forming Aratus Health Limited through which medical devices are imported for the larger Kenyan market at subsidized costs and undertakes business strategic projects such as the Lions Diabetes Care Centres (a one stop multi-disciplinary centre) at both MP Shah Hospital and Lions SightFirst Eye Hospital. Arv Kalsi continues to lead the Lions Diabetes Care Centres as a Strategic Consultant for business expansion as well as working on other therapy areas such as Cardiology and Women’s Health. Recently Aratus Health Limited founded 'DiaBeaters' an online patient support platform on Facebook and Instagram in light of COVID-19 pandemic to bring together the Diabetes community, which was launched end of March 2020.

She is the Chief Editor of a Quarterly 'DiaBeaters Magazine', for people with Diabetes, their families and for healthcare professionals.

Arv is also a Director of FALG (Foot and Limb Group Limited), to address education in wound management and to reduce amputation rates in Kenya.

Coyie has over 14 years of experience in Pharmaceutical expertise cutting across various roles both public and corporate sectors. Despite reaching this level of career success at a young age, Coyie’s passion has always been in the discipline of Pharmacovigilance and drug safety and this saw her leave formal employment in 2018, so as to advance and better advocate for quality PV and Drug safety services in Africa.

Additionally, Stella serves as a team leader and board member of the Harvard-borne Girls 4 Girls Mentoring Initiative that empowers women to develop the vision, courage and skills to lead. She is also a Global Mentor with the F-LANE Accelerator program, powered by Vodafone Institute, Yunus Social Business, Impact Hub Berlin and W-Lounge. Her passion for leadership has seen her selected as a member of various organizations including The Africa List, The Boardroom Africa and League of East African Directors (LEAD).

She serves in various committes including Mastercard Foundation Alumni Network, Uganda Women Entreprenuers Association Limited (UWEAL) and has served in the Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda. Stella holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Makerere University and has graduated from various leadership programs including Harvard Business Online, Regent University,Cornell University and Strathmore Business School.

Stella is a YALI (Young African Leaders Initiative) and AWEC (African Women Entreprenuership
Cooperative) fellow whose contribution to Healthcare, Leadership and Women has seen her recognized by Pride Woman Magazine Nigeria, Top 40 Under 40, Top Women in Science and Rotary International. Stella is change agent who believes that we each carry unique potential that can be deliberately harnessed into creating positive impact in our communities. In future, Stella plans to expand her coaching, mentoring and health technology work across Africa with a focus on empowering women to thrive.

A decade of experience leading teams in the pharmaceutical, corporate and women empowerment spaces. Currently, she is the founder and accredited Clarity 4D Coach at Performance Point International (PPI), a workforce development firm that helps corporate organizations build high performance teams using globally tested frameworks.

She is also the Head of Corporate Partnerships and Business Development at Baobab Circle; a global digital health company that seeks to provide affordable and accessible healthcare solutions to Africa through it’s flagship product Afya Pap app. She derives tremendous satisfaction in guiding multidisciplinary teams to get out of their “technical” shell and embrace vital concepts that accelerate personal and professional growth.
